This Is How A Warm You Can Wear A Cool Lip Gloss

Okay so this is how we do it. The new Stila Lip Enamel in Giggle is an adorable shade ...just not on me. So I paired it with the uber pretty new Lip Glaze in Kitten - a warm golden beige - pink shade and the result was just the prettiest pink that I could almost wear everyday ! This is also how you tame a wild intense gloss like Giggle.

Gist of the story : Layer a warm gloss over a cool one to cancel out the "coolness" of the cool gloss.

Now onto some Lipgloss Math. FYI this is the only kinda math I am good at.

Stila Lip Glaze - Kitten : Review & Swatches

Stila Lip Glaze has been a favorite of makeup lovers all over for a a long time and so has been their cult classic shade Kitten. This Fall Stila combined the two and came out with the uber pretty Stila Lip Glaze in the shade Kitten !

While Kitten Eyeshadow is more a pink champagne, the kitten gloss is a bit more on the warm side with its flecks of golden beige. I personally think its a great addition to the Kitten family and I love the move away from champagne. I don't think I'd like champagne colored lip glosses but gimme a sparkling gold- pink and I'm all over it ! The feel of the gloss is light, not sticky and really just a perfect on the go kinda product. The shade also works very well over most lipsticks to add a hint of shine.

However, I have always wished Stila would add a little more of the product into the tube. Just a few more oz and I'll give it a 10 on 10 !

Stila Lip Enamel Luxe Lip Gloss : Review & Swatches

When I first read about the Lip Enamel Lip Gloss from Stila I was super excited yet a bit reserved on how they would feel on my lips. The promised intense pigmentation had me wondering if it would turn out to be a thick paste , hard to spread and even harder to pull off in real life.

However when I did test it I was relieved that it was none of the horrible things I imagined it could be. The Lip Enamel Lip Glosses are spot on with the intensity and shine. But they are also equally great as far as the texture goes. They are not sticky, not pasty, spread pretty easily and have a non drying formula. The luxe glosses come with an attached brush and you just rotate the bottom part of the tube to get the color out. Some self control is required here, because its a lotta fun to keep twisting the bottom and seeing the color pour out of the brush.

The tricky part is with the application. Though these glide effortlessly, it takes some patience to get an even coat on your lips. A nude lip liner also helps avoid feathering. The other thing is the fierce shades. It is not for the weak of heart but if you do have one, I will soon show how you too can work it !
