The Hilarious Search That Led To AIMB

I love this feedjit widget I have on the side bar. It tells me about the places that people come from to my blog and also about the searches that led to my blog. Its a LOT of fun. LOT. The things that people search for are beyond hilarious. And there are several pervs that end up on the blog too. Yes, internet is a scary place. Every time I see one of those, I thank my good senses for not putting my full face pics on the blog. Just scares me to know some pervs have access to it. It would scare the bejesus out of anybody, man !

Here are some funny/ weird / stupid searches. Now, I added it as a picture and altered the spelling just to be extra careful and so the original words don't lead to my blog. That would be the worst ! Have fun decoding and laughing, ! Mostly.Puke. Right Puke.

Seriously when I chose the pen name IG, I never knew it could end up like this. I wanted to get a domain name for my future site and searched for Indian Girl to see if someone had it and curious as to what they wrote on their site. Wait, don't search for it. Again, puke. Its the worst, man .

I don't know what name to choose for the future website. I know it wont be all beauty. It'll be a bunch of other things too. So, I need to get a short and sweet one. A really good one. A brilliant one actually...

Why Kashmira had a bikini bath in Iss Jungle

Kashmira Shah is the latest celebrity to exit Sony Entertainment Television's Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. The actress was apparently brought in to raise the show's TRPs and did it quite effectively. During her stay, she stirred things up quite considerably by creating friction between the contestants, and cooling off in a bikini bath.
She spoke to Rajul Hegde about her experience in the Malaysian jungles.
Do you think you lived up to the expectations of the channel?
I did more than exceed their expectations. They thought I would take two days to start trouble in the camp but it started on day one itself. People like Aman Verma were trying to sleep their way into the finals. Everyone was portrayed to be this one big happy family and would be sad when two people were in the bottom two. But Akashdeep Saighal and Chetan Hansraj were very happy that Marc Robinson got eliminated because they considered Anaida to be of the weaker sex, and that they would beat her in the finals. No one went on the show to let the other win.
You went there to create trouble but came out saying that people were fighting a lot.
That is for their sake. If I had not done that, Chetan's real self would not have come out. He threw the mike and said ever since I had gone in, they had begun fighting and before that everything was fine.

You had gone there for a purpose but had to face a tough life. How was your jungle experience?
The next time I have to do something like this, I will tell the makers that I need to be in touch with my family. And I need coffee! They made me stay like a contestant. I can't even wax my legs now because of the insect bites.
The living area was not very clean. Every time something would fall on the bed. We would get half a mug of rice and one mug of soya beans for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
How comfortable were you with the idea of the whole nation watching you take a bath in a bikini?
It would take four days for the clothes to dry there because it would rain often. My option was to show myself bathing in a bikini or be dirty like Mona Wasu. She rarely had a bath and was called khaaj-khujli. You cannot even put perfume there because the animals might get attracted to the smell. Then I thought how does it matter as I am looking good anyway [laughs].

Go Natural For A Week - Product List

Finally, right !

So, after a few phone calls with Mom, I gathered a few things that I could use for a week as part this Go Natural experiment. I did not want to make a huge post with recipes for face masks and stuff. I wanted to keep it simple and easy to understand. So, I made a list of it all. Please find below, a list of products that can be used as cleansers, toners and face masks. For the body I plan on using Chick Pea Flour with milk and turmeric , all week long. Its the best ever !

Lets get started !


I plan on making it the night before and storing it in the fridge. If there is excess, best discard it at the end of the day and make a fresh one for the next day. Its really not much work at all ! We can mix it up and use a different one each day and see which works best for the future !


The potatoes and tomatoes can be sliced and directly rubbed on the face. Nothing to do !Rose water can be bought at any grocery store. Blend the Watermelon, Cilantro and lettuce , strain them and use a cotton ball to apply. These three juices can be stored in the refrigerator for 2- 3 days.



As you see, I made a list of solids and liquids for the face masks. The fruits can be mashed and used on their own or mixed with other fruits as a face mask. The rest can be combined with one or more of the liquids and used. If you have oily skin, avoid the oils. Similarly, if you have dry skin use the oils, but in moderation ( 1 tsp). Oily - go for egg white, dry - egg yolk.

Makeup

I know, pretty important ! Generally I am pretty light handed with my makeup so I'll continue with the same. I will try and avoid long wearing formulas and water proof formulas because they are often tough to take off. But if you do wear em, use coconut oil to take it off. Apply coconut oil all over your face, let sit for a couple of minutes , go over with a cotton ball and rinse it off. It works very well !

Lets start tomorrow ! I'll put up the list of products I use everyday and you can do the same ! I'll also try and add a list of foods I eat on that day because I plan on eating healthier. I'd love it if you can share these details too - just for fun ;) This way we can compare and learn ! Also, if you have any more ideas, do share em !

Bobbi Brown Lip Crayons : Review & Swatches

I've been all over Lip Pencils for a while now. We saw Lipstick Queen China Town Glossy Lip Pencils, then we saw the Avon Big Color Glossy Lip Pencils and now its Bobbi Brown ! Little did I know Lip Crayons would be big this fall ! Are we the trend makers or what !


Unlike the two other pencils which were super glossy, the Bobbi Brown Lip Crayons are more matte and opaque. I dare not pull these outta my bag on a dry winter evening when I'm struggling with chapped lips. I'd rather store it and use it at its full potential on well exfoliated, smooth lip days. The shade I tried was Raisin Berry - a total Fall / Winter darling. Gosh, I love Fall / Winters. I love bundling up in coats, getting out my pretty scarves and above all not look odd, wearing dark lipsticks.
