Beauty Tattoos

At first glance, flower tattoo designs can simply be for pretty girls who want cute little tattoos. Yet flowers are symbols of nature, of the cycle of life, and definitely of universal and elegant beauty. Specific flowers carry with them specific meanings, such as the rose, or the lotus, which is like the Eastern counterpart of a rose.

Specific flowers are not the only unique thing about flowers; even their colors speak a lot about them. One might think that a rose has a universal meaning, that of love, but the different colors of roses also say different things—white for purity and red for passion are some examples of this. Flowers’ meanings are not entirely clear, yet almost everyone loves the simplicity of a flower—its beauty, shape and scent. Flowers are given to people we love, the sick, the dying, and also during celebrations; birthdays, weddings, parties are never complete without beautiful flowers adorning the centre-stage.

Many people have chosen flowers as designs for their tattoos. It can be huge—snaking its way from your foot to your leg, or small—a tiny piece of lotus on your wrist. Flower tattoo designs are beautiful expressions of different things, depending on what kind, color, and where you place them on your body. Some spots on the body where big flower designs can be placed are the lower back, the shoulder, below the belly button, and the calves; areas which can accommodate small flowers beautifully are the feet, the inside of your wrist, back of the neck, upper arm, and hip.
