Jessica Simpson is ready to make her way down the aisle once again. Several years and many boyfriends after she and ex-husband Nick Lachey divorced, Simpson's reps have confirmed she is indeed engaged to football player boyfriend Eric Johnson, reports ABC News.

Us Weekly has reported that the pair were engaged on Thursday, and by Saturday, Jessica was flashing her engagement ring to the crowd at a department store appearance in Kansas City. They started dating in May.

The announcement of Simpson and Johnson's engagement came shortly after the announcement of Lachey's engagement to his girlfriend of five years, model and MTV VJ, Vanessa Minnillo.

Lachey and Simpson were married for three years before announcing their divorce.
