We've all at one point or the other either bought or tried out the wonderful Mentha lip glosses at Bath & Body Works. I have so many memories about those lip shines....not one day of school went by without me having them on my lips. Come summer, com winter...that's all I wore. They have the most wonderful minty freshness and a slight sweet taste. But they were a bit sticky too ...


If stickiness was one issue you had with the cult classics then you should try the new Mentha Tinted Lip Balms. These are just like the Lip Shines except they come in solid, lip balm like stick with a little more than a hint of color and absolutely non-sticky. I tried the lip balms in Golden Mint and Merlot Mint. Merlot gives my lips a wonderful natural looking deep red stain. More like Edward's lips in Twilight ? Golden Mint, is a little more versatile balm with a light golden frost. It can be used on its own or over/ under any of your favorite lipstick ! However beware of the teeny golden sparkles in it.

There are five shades in these lip balms. Apart from Merlot and Golden, they also have a Poppy Pink, Brown Betty & Baby Pink. For $7.50 these last a long long time and are perfect pick me ups for the summer dehydrated lips !
