Summer Makeup Inspiration - Needed Here !

This summer I promise myself that I wont do the tired oily mess look. Instead I am putting together simple looks that I know I can wear with the heat. One such look was the girly pink look that Neha Dhupia, an Indian actress wore recently . It was simple, sexy, fresh and can be created with just one product ! I have a few such simple looks in mind, all inspired by celebrities , models, runway trends and multifunctional products that anybody can re-create. I'll tell you all about it soon but before I post them I want to hear from you.

Aishwarya Rai at Cannes Film Festival 2009

Aishwarya Rai had made of her best appearances at Cannes this year - according to me :) A lot of times she does come off being too pageant-y but this year there was something warm, something a lot more happy about her. I wanted to put up a few pictures form the three appearances she has made so far.

Look 1 : The white dress. Not a big fan of the feathery dress but she looks gorgeous ! I love that she has a tan . She looks a lot less pale and lot less "white" - skin wise. The hair color goes well with her skin tone and the hairstyle itself is nice ! I like it a lot more in the second pic. The pewter smokey eyes - classic !



Look 2 : Stunning ! Very tough to carry off the flat hair but it was styled right , so it looks great. If I go out with my hair that flat, I'll probably look like I have a wig plastered on my head. Grey on her eyes, again very pretty with her eye color. The gown is real pretty, too !



Look 3 : This is my most favorite look of hers. It is not very often that one sees Ash dressed down and casual. At most events she usually is dressed to the max. That's why this look works so well ! It is summery, fun, casual and beach-y . I love the loose waves, the hairband and the bronze glow. I think she should do this a lot more than the prim n proper looks. What say ?


Man, that hair color is SO Good, makes me wanna color mine. I have never colored my hair and my reason for it is this - My mom will kill me. The other reason - it will grey in a few years and then I will HAVE TO color it. So I'll just enjoy the natural hair as long as it lasts !
