Is Bollywood going to hell again?
It sounds like Troy, until we hear the names involved in this alleged coup d'etat. A few days ago, Bollywood rumour tunnels were once again filled with a flow of fresh gossip but this time around, danger was close because Salman Khan was involved.
The rumour attempted to create a link between Sallu's girlfriend Katrina Kaif and her New York co-star John Abraham.
The change in the winds started occurring sometime around May 28th, when reports of an SMS frenzy between Kat and John started making headlines. Insiders claim Salman was calm during the early hours of the incident, but as soon as bigger tabloids started picking up the scent, Sallu broke through his rusty mental barricade - tearing towards Katrina Kaif.
Newspapers then reported that Sallu had thrown his girlfriend's 'stuff' out into Bandra streets after discovering 'a host of calls to John Abraham' from Kat's phone. It is already known that Sallu keeps monitoring Katrina's phone activity with her co-stars - almost like what the police would do if they think you're selling fake Rolexes!
Katrina, meanwhile, is in a state of panic. During an interview earlier, the Singh Is Kinng star maintained that all was well with her Rottweiler, oops, boyfriend and that reports linking her to John Abraham were utterly baseless.
'What stuff of mine has Salman thrown away? I haven't given him any gifts till date,' said an outraged Katrina. 'And all my other personal stuff is still lying around in his house, intact. Most importantly, my photographs are still hanging on the walls.'
But through all this - and while Sallu kept chucking his girlfriend's clothes out into the streets - John was quiet. Well, that could be because Bipasha Basu has taken up the PR in that front.
'John and I have gone through enough of such gossip. I don't want to give any credibility to this by even commenting on it. It is malicious and absolutely the most bizarre story involving us,' said a surprised Bipasha, almost like someone told her there was no Santa!
So, does this mean Salman and Katrina have hit new lows in their six-year relationship? The answer is no. We don't think anyone's crazy to mess with Sallu's Kat - not even stuntman Akki!
It's true most of Bollywood stays away from Salman and that could in turn hurt Katrina's career, but a relationship with John Abraham? You're more likely to die of a polar bear attack than that happening!

'John was [past tense?] a sweetheart, we enjoyed each other's company. There are some friendships that are carried on even after the film is completed,' she said. 'But John and I never became that kind of friends. The SMSes were old ones, not new. All this is rubbish.'
